Concrete Contractor for Cincinnati's North Side

Driveways, patios, sidewalks, and stamped concrete for northern Cincinnati and its Hamilton County suburbs — from a veteran-owned crew based just up I-75 in West Chester.

Ohio Valley Concrete & Hardscapes works out of West Chester, just north of the Hamilton County line — which puts the northern side of Cincinnati well inside our service radius. Sharonville, Springdale, Blue Ash, Evendale, Glendale, Wyoming, Forest Park, and the neighborhoods along the I-75 and I-71 corridors are all a shorter drive from our shop than half the cities we're named for. If your project is on Cincinnati's north side, Mike Lopez will walk it personally before a single form gets set.

We keep our service area deliberately tight — roughly thirty minutes from home — because that's what keeps the owner on every pour and the follow-up visit five minutes away instead of fifty. For Cincinnati, that means we say yes to the north side and honestly refer out the far East Side and west of the Great Miami.

Local Knowledge

Concrete Built for Hamilton County Soil and Streets

Cincinnati's north-side suburbs boomed in the postwar decades, and a huge share of their original driveways, walks, and garage aprons are now sixty-plus years old — poured thin, unreinforced, and salted every winter since. Mature street trees have heaved sidewalk panels across Wyoming, Glendale, and Springdale, and settled aprons and map-cracked driveways are the norm on streets that haven't been touched since the houses were built. Most of our Cincinnati work is full tear-out and replacement, built to a modern spec: excavation to stable ground, compacted gravel base, reinforcement, correctly spaced control joints, and an air-entrained mix designed for southwest Ohio's freeze-thaw cycles.

The clay under Hamilton County behaves the same way it does under Butler and Warren — it holds water in the fall, freezes hard in January, and heaves anything sitting on a thin or poorly compacted base. Every slab we pour starts with the part you never see, because that's the part that decides whether it's still flat in twenty years.

The OHV Difference

A Veteran-Owned Crew Just Up I-75

Ohio Valley Concrete & Hardscapes is veteran-owned and based in West Chester — fifteen to twenty minutes from most of Cincinnati's north side. The owner who walks your estimate is the one standing over the pour, and if anything needs attention after the trucks leave, we're up the road, not across the metro. Mike Lopez runs every job the way he served — show up on time, do it right, stand behind the work.

Closer to the county line? Our West Chester and Hamilton pages cover the Butler County side of our territory.
